About Me

With love for the world and others, I am an expressive person who desires to make change somehow, someway.

By now, you probably know my name—I’ve sprinkled it all over this site! But just in case, I’m Alyssa Pomerleau. I’d shout it even louder if you knew the hidden meaning behind it. You see, my name has roots that stretch back to my adoption when I was fifteen. My full name (which I’ll keep a secret for now—if you know, you know…) holds a special significance.

I believe in spirits, reincarnation, and angels. In 2018, I lost my grandmother, who was incredibly important to me. To honor her memory, I took her name as my middle name during my adoption. It was one of the most meaningful moments of my life.

Since then, I’ve felt her presence guiding me. She’s with me during my toughest challenges and my greatest achievements, reminding me to persevere and celebrate. She’s my angel, inspiring me to live each day to the fullest.

Have you ever felt a presence like that, something beyond the ordinary guiding you? It makes you wonder about the unseen forces in our lives, doesn’t it? My grandmother’s spirit reminds me that even in our darkest moments, there’s always a light guiding us forward.

Embracing Independence &

Living in the moment.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned on my journey, it’s the value of independence. From navigating life’s twists and turns to making my own decisions, being independent has shaped me into who I am today. But it’s more than just standing on my own—it’s about understanding the world through my own lens and embracing the beauty in every moment.

Psychology teaches us that our thoughts and emotions profoundly influence our daily lives. It’s fascinating how our mindset can shape our experiences, how our perspectives can turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. This understanding drives me to live fully, to capture the essence of life in every way I can.

I believe in the power of living in the moment. It’s easy to get caught up in the rush of daily life, but taking a step back to appreciate the here and now can be transformative. I often find myself snapping pictures of things that catch my eye—a beautiful sunset, a animal that is stunning, palm trees that look elegant. These photos are more than just images; they’re reminders to savor the present, to find joy in the little things.

Have you ever stopped to think about what makes you feel truly alive? It’s those moments when you’re fully present, when you’re immersed in the beauty around you. I encourage you to take pictures of things you find beautiful or things that make you smile. It’s a simple act, but it can remind you to live in our world as if there’s no tomorrow.

In a world that’s constantly pulling us in different directions, finding peace in the present moment is a gift. It’s a reminder that life is fleeting, and each moment is a treasure. Let’s live with the kind of passion and presence that makes every day a great one.
